There have been many different navigation update methods over the years. The problem with Googling to find an answer is that you sometimes get instructions for Toyota vehicles sold outside the U.S. I think that mostly ended with the 2017 model year - at least for the U.S. I don't think an SD card is involved in updating your navigation. My knowledge of how Toyota navigation updates are done pretty much ended with the 2017 model year. I also searched this forum and didn't find anything related to this particular console. So I thought I'd click the Update Map button to see if it gave any guidance but it only said to contact the dealer. I did find that I can update the software firmware via a USB drive but unable to find anything about possibly updating maps via the USB port. Service dept says I have to purchase through the Parts dept. I called the local Toyota dealership and the Parts dept transferred me to Service. I see on the Toyota Parts site that there are Map Updates, but there isn't a description of what it is. I've done some googling and found that maps can be updated via a MicroSD card however I can't find anything specifically related to the 2020 version and I don't see a MicroSD card slot on my Entune, model 86140-08190. Recently I've been getting a pop up that says my map will expire on July 25, 2022. There are plenty of threads on "Dynamic Navigation". I knew my vehicle came with Dynamic Navigation, but didn't make the connection with "Map Update" which is what I searched for. Update: I called customer care and Tiffany told me that I had to renew my subscription for Dynamic Navigation.
